In an earlier blog post, I recounted my experience of tramping the Milford track in New Zealand. However, I failed to mention that along the way, I did some artwork – drawings, to be specific. I’ve decided to show you guys! So here they are:
This was a drawing of the view from the boat ride to the start of the tramp.
This was a drawing of the view from a helicopter pad at the first hut. There was a small walk to get there, but the end result was worth it – the helipad was in the middle of a vast expanse of vegetation, completely surrounded by mountains! A beautiful spot, and somehow there were less sandflies there too!
This was a view partway down a hill we descended – I thought it was a nice sight, so I drew it!
Thats all… I was too busy enjoying the sheer beauty of the Milford track, to spend much more time drawing it. I just wanted to soak it in!
